On Saturday Lily took Fred Bear down to Brockley Market.

We bought some pumpkins.

Lily and Fred really enjoyed this.

So I roasted some pumpkin.

Added some sage.

And made some pumpkin Lasagna.

I also roasted some seeds

And on Sunday we went to El Vergel (and fred bear tagged along).

And a few more photos.

This weekend we went berry picking. Got some lovely raspberries and some beautiful courgettes.

The kids really enjoyed it and we had some fun making raspberry muffins and banana bread.

Also made some ragu with black beans.

And combined that with the courgettes for a lovely dinner.

And then on Monday we had a lovely barbecue.

These days a lot of my Sundays are spent making big batches of delicious ragu. Thanks to a brilliant christmas gift from my parents I now have the perfect pot to make it in as well. Le creuset makes the most amazing pots.

So a couple of weeks ago I had a pointless discussion at work about making ragu from scratch vs. Dolmio of all things.

While I can’t claim to be the world’s biggest football fan, the visualisation aspect really does it for me. I’ll definitely be playing with it when the world cup starts, especially while SA causes some major upsets
